Jean Cunningham is a pioneer in lean accounting and works with clients nationwide as a financial and process improvement consultant. Through Jean Cunningham Consulting, she has provided seminars, kaizen events, and one-on-one leadership, helping companies fully integrate accounting and other business processes with lean manufacturing for maximized productivity.

A change agent and decision-maker, Jean Cunningham brings over 20 years of corporate experience in finance and manufacturing to her position as Chief Financial Officer at Stiles Associates. Stiles Associates is pleased to have Jean working as an integral part of the management team, providing strategic business and financial planning to company-wide lean initiatives.

Passionate about raising productivity throughout an organization, Jean has also translated her knowledge into practical applications as the author of two books: Real Numbers, which won the Shingo Prize for research in 2004 and Easier, Simpler, Faster published in 2007. Additionally, she has contributed to the book, Lean Accounting, a collection of works by lean experts and is one of the founding Thought Leaders for the annual Lean Accounting Summit. She is also the CFO and a Director-at-Large for the Association for Manufacturing Excellence.
