CUNNINGHAM AWARDED THE SHINGO RESEARCH PRIZE

4/9/2008 — Stiles Associates extends congratulations to its own CFO, Jean Cunningham, who was recently awared The Shingo Research Prize for her lean transformation book, Easier, Simpler, Faster - Systems Strategy for Lean IT.



The Shingo Research Prize recognizes research and writing that delivers new knowledge and understanding of manufacturing consistent with the philosophy of The Shingo Prize for Operational Excellence Business Prize Guidelines. Cunningham received the award, along with co-author Duane Jones, in honor of their work which focused attention on bringing lean into the IT and IS departments.

This is the second Shingo Prize for Cunningham who received the same honor in 2004 for her lean accounting book with Orest Fuime, Real Numbers: Management Accounting for Lean Organization. For more information about Jean Cunningham, or to view any of her upcoming workshops, please click here.
