THE COMPANY

Our client is a family-owned leading international manufacturer.

THE POSITION

The President oversees and manages all aspects of the company’s operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops, implements and executes a strategic business plan for the company, including achievement of assigned metrics such as those related to financial forecasts and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborates and communicates at all levels of the organization to meet company and departmental goals.
  • Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulations and company policies, procedures and compliance programs.
  • Oversees and analyzes budgets and financial reports.
  • Approves contracts, actively assisting with negotiations.
  • Approves advertising and marketing campaigns.
  • Meets with board members and other executives to assess the direction of the company, develops short- and long-term goals, plans and strategies and ensure the company’s compliance with the stated mission.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, developments, new technologies and market conditions relevant to the company and industry.

SALARY RANGE

$250,000 -- $300,000 + bonus

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering; MBA or advanced technical degree is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 15 to 20 years of experience in progressive manufacturing leadership roles working in transformational organizations with demonstrated P&L success.
  • A successful track record of having led multiple Lean manufacturing and cultural transformations with an understanding of transitioning operations from traditional methodologies to a Lean enterprise through fact-based decisions.
  • Servant leader who focuses on developing and aligning an employee’s sense of purpose with the company’s vision, and uses this leadership style to hire, develop, mentor, retain and motivate top talent.
  • A clear communicator with the ability to translate a business strategy into specific team objectives, breaking down organizational boundaries through collaboration, building strong relationships based on trust with all levels of employees and a track record of personal engagement with other members of leadership.
