THE COMPANY

Our client is a manufacturer of fixed gas detection systems.

THE POSITION

The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for leading the overall strategy, growth, and operational execution of the company. This executive will inherit a profitable, stable business with a strong recurring revenue foundation and significant untapped growth opportunities. The primary mandate is to accelerate commercial performance, professionalize the organization, develop a scalable go-to-market strategy, and drive sustainable revenue and EBITDA growth through both organic initiatives and strategic acquisitions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute the company’s long-term strategic plan focused on accelerating organic growth, increasing market share, and expanding customer penetration.
  • Can work effectively in a Lean, results-oriented, team environment, with limited corporate staff or established procedures.
  • Foster a high-performance culture built on accountability, customer focus, collaboration, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.
  • Lead organizational transformation while preserving the positive cultural attributes that have contributed to long-term success.
  • Ensure the company consistently delivers exceptional customer service, product quality, operational performance, and profitability.
  • Partner closely with the private equity firm to execute value creation initiatives and achieve investment objectives.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; engineering, business, or related field preferred. MBA is a plus.
  • Fifteen-plus years of progressive leadership experience with significant P&L responsibility.
  • Proven success as a CEO, President, General Manager, Division President, or equivalent senior executive within an industrial, instrumentation, engineered products, safety products, distribution, or related manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading private equity-backed businesses and partnering effectively with investors and boards.
  • Strong commercial leadership experience with a track record of building sales organizations, accelerating growth, and improving market penetration.
