THE POSITION
The Senior Demand Manager will be part of the front-end Supply Chain team providing day-to-day oversight and support to ensure the business runs smoothly and cost effectively. As the Senior Demand Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing and leading the demand planning process to ensure accurate forecasting of consumer demand for the products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of a robust S&OP process. Support the leadership of and accountability for the execution of the S&OP process.
- Will act as a key business partner in monthly S&OP reviews, with the ability to articulate clearly to a variety of cross-functional stakeholders.
- Develop and manage a demand planning process that ensures accurate forecasting of consumer demand for all products.
- Analyze historical data and market trends to identify patterns and make informed demand forecasts.
- Create and maintain a rolling forecast that aligns with the company's overall business objectives and ensures sufficient inventory levels to meet consumer demand.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning, including forecast accuracy and inventory levels.
- Support the implementation of Kinaxis and establish KPI reporting using new data platforms to understand and improve key supply chain metrics.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of demand planning.
- Manage initiatives to ensure data integrity for accuracy of reporting.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Fifteen-plus years of experience supporting supply chain operations, inclusive of recent experience of, at minimum, three-plus years in a role focused on demand planning and forecasting.
- Experience in consumer products, personal care or related industry preferred.
- Proficiency in demand planning software and tools.
- Strong understanding of forecast planning, sales cycles and inventory management.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to understand details but speak at a high level to senior leadership to drive messaging and decision making.
- Experienced in supporting monthly S&OP process including all related demand, inventory and key stakeholder cross-functional meetings.
- Ability to provide leadership to cross-functional teams and execution of key projects and programs that advance initiatives and develop capabilities supporting company growth and profitability improvements.
