Our client is a leader in geotechnical and structural implementation manufacturing.
THE POSITION
This position will drive people and culture initiatives that support continuous growth in line with the company’s strategic plan. The individual will lead the Human Resources team with responsibility for succession planning development, leadership development and cultural development and manage benefits, training and career development, employee engagement and labor law compliance. This HR leader will play a key role in continuously enhancing the employee experience and will be instrumental in driving a performance-oriented culture.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promotes a safe and clean work environment where safety is the highest priority and embedded in the culture.
- Ability to lead change and be a culture leader.
- Leads organizational planning and career development initiatives on site. Provides the team with coaching and mentoring to help them achieve their full potential.
- Provides appropriate leadership, resources and processes to ensure robust plant operations.
- Creates a productive atmosphere that encourages positive reinforcement, open communications, employee engagement and ideas.
- Develops, communicates and evaluates departmental and individual objectives.
- Sets standards to advance initiatives and growth opportunities for the team.
- Drives results for safety, quality, operational/OEE, maintenance reliability, process improvement and cost. Explores and analyzes technical, production and management disciplines to develop annual budgets and long-term plans.
- Drives financial goals, multi-year capital plans, work schedules and human resources requirements.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 12-15 years in Human Resources, with at least five years in an executive HR role.
- Experience working in manufacturing or similarly fast-paced environments.
- Solid understanding/experience with human resources and payroll processes, benefit and compensation administration, recruitment and onboarding processes, handling employee relations issues, FMLA/Leave administration, employment law compliance (FLSA, ADEA, EEO, ADA, FMLA, etc.), performance management, employee development and regulatory reporting.
- Experienced in formulating human resource policies.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build consultative, collaborative relationships with members of management and employees at all levels.
- Working knowledge of Payroll/HRIS software required; familiarity with Paylocity a plus.
- Experience working within an Employed Owned (ESOP) company with a firm grasp on the unique governance intricacies is preferred but not required.
